My absolute favorite books growing up were always Christmas books. As a child, I couldn’t wait to get all of them out and have my parents read them to me! Now, I’m so excited to read them to my own daughter this year. When Maria Ashworth reached out to me to review her newest children’s book, Iggy Loo, I was really excited to read it.
Iggy Loo is about a little penguin who lives in a snow globe, and loves being taken out of the christmas decorations to see the world around him. He enjoys watching all the holiday festivities from his globe, but wishes to experience them himself! One day he gets his chance, but realizes how much he misses his globe. I won’t reveal the ending, but it is so sweet that it brought some tears to my eyes. It is a beautifully written book for kids of any age, and the illustrations are magical.
This book will definitely become a holiday must-have on your reading list–it’s definitely made it onto mine! Iggy Loo is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble…anywhere books are sold.
