I absolutely love notepads, and I was smitten with this Mom’s List notepad! Nicole’s shop, NC Creative, makes TONS of custom stationary, from invitations and thank you cards, to beautiful notepads! On Nicole’s website, she also offers copyrighting, graphic design and consulting work as well!

4. The sparkliest pen ever, by Pen Gems
What goes better with a Mom notepad than the perfect pen?! These pens have been a favorite of mine for a WHILE. I’m pretty much like a squirrel…anything shiny or sparkly has me all googley-eyed! So of course, I love these pens. The tops are filled with little gems, and there’s a big sparkly crystal at the top. I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes just having a really beautiful, sparkly pen makes you feel put together and pretty! See ya Bic, Pen Gems are my new jam!

Katrin did this one for me with my daughter’s initial and birthdate. It is absolutely gorgeous! I shop small every chance I get! Especially when I travel, I always visit the local book store (not the big box chains) and buy several books or bookish things. In my own town (which sadly does not have even one book store), I eat and get take-out from the restaurants. This is great to spotlight small business!
