One of my favorite go to chapsticks has always been the green tube of Blistex. Kind of medicine-y smelling, but did the job. I recently discovered Jessica’s (homemade!) Lip Balm and Lip Scrub from her shop on Etsy, Face Affection, and I think I’ve found a new favorite!!
I hate how thick regular chapsticks can be, and these aren’t thick at all, which is wonderful. You get just the right about of balm without leaving your lips waxy with residue. You can see it here on my hand how sheer and thin it is (but moisturizing!). Her balms come in 4 flavors: Natural, Citrus, Mint and Lavender.
In addition to her lip balm brand, Lip Affection, Jessica makes a really nice (and…yummy!) lip scrub, which comes in a Natural or Citrus flavor. I have used this weekly (sometimes more…I love using it!) and scrub it on right before bed.

I tried a lip scrub a few months ago for the first time and loved it.
They’re great right!? Especially when they have a nice taste to them. Since these are all natural and organic, I don’t feel too bad about licking a bit off 🙂 hehe

I use the Chapstick brand chapstick and I feel like I am always putting it on and my lips are still soo dry! So annoying! I think I need to try something different!
