I’ve been wearing Cuddl Duds since my mom bought me a pair for Christmas when I was in high school. At the time the only thing I really knew about Cuddl Duds was that they had some base layers and sleepwear. I had a long sleeved cream colored pajama/base layer top made of bamboo, and I remember it being so incredibly soft and comfortable! I had it for about 10 years (honestly) until I noticed a small hole. Maybe from a snag, or a moth in between some moves, but I ended up throwing it away because it wasn’t a hole I could fix.
Anyway, Cuddl Duds changed how I felt about clothing and softness. Since that original long sleeved top, I’ve always searched for really soft shirts and bottoms, because why should I wear something scratchy and uncomfortable when I KNOW the good, soft stuff exists?!
So of course I jumped at the chance to partner with Cuddl Duds and try out some of their new items, specifically their Softwear with Stretch. I tried out a pair of Softwear leggings, a Softwear long sleeve cowl tunic, and a Fleecewear long sleeve wrap. My plan was to build an outfit just from these three items. Not having seen these pieces in person, I was a little worried about whether or not they’d go together…but they turned out to all pair together perfectly!
These three pieces are perfect for staying cozy in the fall!
The leggings are SUPER soft, but are a tad see-through, so if you pick these up, wear a longer shirt or tunic with them. These retail for $32, which is $7 more than a Lularoe pair of leggings, and in my opinion these are well worth the extra money. They’re not as thick as Lularoe, but to me they feel higher quality. **I just checked at BonTon and they’re on SALE for $25.50 here!!!**
The plum tunic is probably my favorite of the three pieces, and it was the piece I thought I’d dislike the most! It’s got a cowl neck (looser than a turtleneck), but the best thing about it is that it’s got a high-low hem, which looks great with the leggings, and covers my butt! It has thumb holes, which are my absolute favorite. The purple is gorgeous with black leggings, and I do feel that this top could be dressed up or down. This long sleeved top retails for $40, and it’s definitely worth it. Wear it with black leggings, jeans, add a cardigan or vest, and you’ve got a quality statement piece that you can wear a multitude of different ways!
The last piece I received was a Fleecewear with stretch, long sleep wrap. Normally I stay FAR AWAY from fleece because we have dogs and cats, and there literally aren’t enough lint rollers to save me from the hair catastrophe that fleece brings upon me. Pet hair is super hard to get out of fleece, which is why I didn’t request a black top. I probably would have worn it once and then given up on trying to get the white cat hair out. I feel like grey won’t be as transparent for the hair…maybe I’m wrong…we’ll see! On first try-on, this is an amazingly cozy and comfortable cardigan-type top. There are thumbholes (again, my favorite), and it’s very flowy on the sides. It’s not the most flattering style unless you’re uber skinny in my opinion (which I’m not), so I think the flowy nature of this piece makes you appear a little larger; however, I love that there are pockets, and you can’t beat the soft and warm fleece-factor here. The retail on this is $48, and it’s the only piece that I probably wouldn’t consider purchasing myself, but thats mostly because of the pet hair factor…but it’s perfect for wrapping up your kiddo and giving lots of snuggly kisses! (you can tell she’s super into it…haha!)
Cozy up with your Cuddl Duds and enjoy some hot coffee, tea or apple cider! This mug is one of my new favorites from
